Zincume having 100% interest
in the business. The business is proudly black youth owned and managed. The
premise under which the company was formed was based on the demand for specialised engineering services especially 100% black youth owned
in Southern Africa.
Zin-Technologies CC offers these services to the Mining, Govenment and the private sector
Mthandeki's main duties are to provide strategic leadership to the company, provide parameters within which the company shall operate and to approve all major projects as recommended by senior management. Mthandeki has a diploma in Mechanical engineering and obtained a Diploma in Project Management from Rosebank College in 2006. He then Joined iThembalethu Consulting Services(PTY) Ltd, worked as a clerk of works and the main client being Johannesburg City power. These projects mainly dealt with reticulation, Sub station and Power stations revamps and new construction. In 2007 he then worked for Oden-Zin Mine Engineering as a Planning and Design head of department. Mthandeki Zincume has a vast number of completed projects under the Oden-Zin Mine engineering banner. These include fabrication and installation of 14m high structural steel bridge for Glencore Lydenburg, Design fabricate and rotate cone crusher and re-design and installation of plant access steps Glencore Lions Ferrochrome, Conveyor Sprinklers installations and plant walkway extension at Thorncliffe etc.
